Aimless Wandering, Wonder Catching
Effective Date: March 23, 2026
This isn't a stuffy, complicated privacy document full of jargon. It's just our simple, clear promise to you about how we care for your privacy when you wander and capture moments with Rove.
Rove is built to be a quiet, safe space for your daily mindfulness. Protecting your privacy is core to that vision, and we've built the app that way from day one.
You don't need to create an account, share your email, name, or any identifying details to use any part of Rove. We never ask for it, and we never collect it.
Every photo, note, and wonder you save with Rove never leaves your phone or tablet unless you choose to share it. We don't store your content on any external servers, and we can never see your captures.
We don't use trackers to follow how you use Rove, and we don't add any third-party analytics or advertising tools that collect your data. We don't need to know how you use the app to make it better.
We don't have any of your personal data to sell, and we never will. Rove is built for joy, not for selling user information to advertisers.
If you choose to share your amazing Rove captures to social media, text friends, or any other platform outside the app, that's completely your call. Those third-party platforms have their own privacy rules, so you can decide what you're comfortable sharing with them.
We never automatically share any of your content anywhere — all sharing is 100% up to you.
As Rove grows, we might make small changes to this privacy note. If we do, we'll let you know the next time you open the app, so you can read through any changes before you keep wandering. If you keep using Rove after changes are posted, that means you're okay with the update.
